The 33rd Vermont Brewers Festival returns July 17–18 at Waterfront Park in Burlington, and we’re excited to be back as the Hangout Zone sponsor for the 2nd year. This is your go-to spot to kick back in lounge chairs, toss a few rounds of cornhole, and enjoy views of Lake Champlain.

The festival brings together 37 breweries per session, including some international brewers. Each attendee gets 15 tasting tickets, with options from 3oz to 9oz samples. There’s also live music, food trucks, and the Fermentation Tent, where you can dig deeper into brewing and fermentation with expert panels.

VIP tickets for Session 1 give early access at 4:30 PM, a lounge with exclusive beers, light food, and 5 extra tasting tickets. GA tickets are $60 in advance, $65 day-of. This is a 21+ event, so IDs are required.

FAQs
How should I get to the festival?
We recommend walking, biking, rideshare, or a sober driver. Parking is limited near Waterfront Park, so plan ahead if you’re driving. Downtown garages and public lots are nearby, but arriving early is your best bet.
How do tasting tickets work?
Every attendee gets 15 pull tabs. Each tab equals 3oz of beer. You can combine tabs for bigger pours, and beers over 9% ABV count as two tabs. Extra tickets can be purchased on-site. Designated drivers don’t get alcohol tickets.
You do not need tasting tickets to sample Upstate Elevator CBD drinks.
What’s the Hangout Zone all about?
It’s our chill spot at Waterfront Park with lounge chairs, cornhole, and lakefront views. Come relax, sip a CBD or hemp drink, and take a breather without missing the festival fun.
